Editorial Policy

Source Selection

We prioritize, in order: official county government sources, official state government sources, official auction-provider sources, authorized data providers, and other reputable sources.

Verification

Every imported record retains its source name, source URL, last-verified date, and verification status. Records are labeled Verified, Recently Verified, Needs Verification, or Unavailable.

Updates

Auction and property information changes frequently. We display a "Last Verified" date on every record and re-verify on a regular schedule. Stale records are flagged for review.

Corrections

If an error is identified, we correct it promptly and record the change. Users can report suspected errors through our contact page with the source URL.

Date Display

Dates are displayed in a consistent format and include the source timezone where relevant. We never invent auction dates or times.
